THE MET X ROCK & ROLL HALL OF FAME
“PLAY IT LOUD”
TRAILER PARK
This was one of my favorite (and memorable) projects. As a big fan of music, especially Rock & Roll, I thoroughly enjoyed supporting the Production team and paying homage to one of the most important artistic movements of the twentieth century.
This was the first time a major museum exhibition examined the instruments of Rock & Roll, and presented approximately 130 instruments alongside posters and costumes from performances by iconic artists.
As Director of Business Affairs, my responsibilities included:
Clearing and licensing all intellectual property that was used & exhibited, including, but not limited to, music, images, archival footage and fonts;
Negotiating with major labels, artist management, A&R and msuic supervisor & drafting music agreements to reflect the deals
Reviewing storyboards, scripts, the final cut and other pre-production materials to ensure we were not infringing any third party rights.
